Yes, you're absolutely right. Plotly Express is way more concise than "native" Plotly, and in most cases, I prefer using it. In the article, I used the more wordy "native" version in the example to eliminate outliers (boxpoints=False). Unfortunately, you can't tweak it in Plotly Express.
